Too Old at 4?
The First4adoption theme for National Adoption Week is “Too Old at 4?” - encouraging adopters to look at older children waiting for adoption.
Coram are also supporting the campaign.
Government
The Department for Education has made a number of announcements to welcome National Adoption Week
The main points are:
- Over 2,000 families now receiving help through Adoption Support Fund
- Details of which local authorities and VAAs will receive DfE financial and practical support to set up 14 Regional Adoption Agencies
- The setting up of a new Adoption Support Users Group in partnership with Adoption UK to advice DfE.
