Skills & Apprenticeships
Local authorities have a key role to play in ensuring the local skills agenda is aligned to the requirements of the local economy whilst taking into account regional national priorities in order to best equip young people for the world of work.
A good apprenticeship can give young people the experience, skills and understanding that can often lead straight into full-time employment.
The ADCS policy position paper on Education covers apprenticeships and skills and can be found here.
