Evaluation of effective early help services
The East Midlands regional group of Improvement and Data Leads has recently presented to regional DCSs an interesting regional chronology and analysis of effective early help. This is leading to more work in the coming months to undertake further analysis of the interventions that are found to make greatest impact at three priority stages:
- School readiness in the early years
- At the cusp of the CIN interface that help to avoid social care service involvement at all
- At the edge of care to help children live safely with their families and avoid the need for children to be taken into care.
