Pillars and Foundations

Richard Selwyn, Assistant Director, Commissioning at Suffolk County Council and member of the ADCS Resources & Sustainability Policy Committee, has worked closely with the committee to develop a thought-provoking paper on the innovation and change which is taking place in response to austerity and driving ‘next practice’ in the sector.
‘Pillars & Foundations’ describes the ‘pillars’ of service re-design and ‘foundations’ that can enable these changes and provides examples of local innovative practice.
The paper is a think piece - intended to be provocative in places - to stimulate thinking, challenge and debate about the future of children’s services.
