Comment on wellbeing and inclusivity in the workforce
John Pearce, ADCS Vice President, said:
“As leaders in children’s services we must do all we can to ensure our social work workforce feels supported because if they don’t this will have an impact on their mental health and wellbeing and on their work with children and families too. We welcome efforts to raise awareness of health issues that can have an impact upon the lives of so many people. It is vital that social workers can operate in an environment where great social work can flourish, enabling the children and families we serve to flourish too.”
