The organisation has played an important role in providing many services to local authorities, voluntary adoption agencies and individuals around the UK. Services such as professional training courses around recent adoption reforms, adoption activity days and consultancy services that have helped agencies change the shape and structure of their adoption services. “Given that the core of BAAF’s services will continue under Coram BAAF and other agencies, the focus on fostering and adoption development won’t be lost. And going forward we look forward to working with these agencies to improve outcomes for children in care.”
