Care Leavers
Local authorities have a key role in providing support and advice to young people leaving care.
Care leavers are eligible for advice and support until their 21st birthday, or 25th birthday if they are in education or training.
The ADCS policy committee with lead responsibility for care leavers is the Health, Care and Additional Needs Policy Committee.
