Safeguarding
Safeguarding means keeping children safe from maltreatment, ensuring that they are growing up in a safe and suitable environment and taking action to enable all children and young people to have the best outcomes in terms of health and development. Everyone who comes into contact with children and families has a role to play as do all agencies including the police, health services and schools.
