Home to School Transport Case Study Cambridgeshire

Cambridgeshire County Council has shared a case study looking at mainstream school transport.
Cambridgeshire CC has been focusing on reviewing mainstream networks based on the number of pupils actually travelling (monitored by smartcard technology), rather than the traditional approach of using lists of eligible pupils who are expected to travel. This has allowed them to reduce the transport spend in a pilot area by 15%.
